Now that the CAT Result is out, students who appeared in CAT Exam are one step closer to achieving their dreams of pursuing MBA course from one of the elite management institutions across the country. “What after CAT Result?” is one of the prevalent questions CAT Aspirants must be facing right now. Since candidates were able to check their expected result when the CAT Answer Keys along with students’ response sheets were released right after one week of the examination, it was not possible for them to analyze if they stood eligible for admission to IIMs or not.
IIM Kozhikode conducted the CAT Exam on 24th November 2019 and the scorecard of CAT Exam has now been made available on the official website and students who took the exam can download their respective scorecards.
This article is an attempt to help students understand what the next step is after CAT Result is declared.
As we know CAT Answer Key and students’ response sheet was declared in the first week of December 2019 and students who appeared in the exam have already calculated their scores based on it. So, after the CAT scorecard is made live on the official website, students can check the percentile scored by them and the CAT Selection Procedure to get shortlisted in the institutes they wish to become a part of.

The two institutes declare merit list based on marks obtained by candidates in CAT exam, their academic record, and work experience (if any).
