For thousands of aspirants who wish to take admission in B.Tech degree programme of Vellore Institute of Technology, the university is all set to conduct the entrance examination for the upcoming academic session.
VITEEE 2019 city wise exam schedule released by Vellore Institute of Technology, exam starting from April 10.
VITEEE 2019 which is scheduled to be conducted in multiple session will start from April 10, 2019, to April 21, 2019. The total score achieved by the candidate will decide the seat and course of the applicants. As VITEEE 2019 Result will play an important role, getting a good rank will ensure the straight entry of the candidate to the institute in the desired stream.
The computer-based entrance examination will be conducted for a span of two weeks in the second and third week of April. Every day three sessions of the examination will be held.
As per the official notification released it is mentioned that-
"It is the responsibility of the candidate to acquire these basic computer skills before appearing for the entrance test and the Institution cannot take responsibility for the same."

Candidates preparing for the upcoming examination should be aware of the fact that the question paper will contain a total of four sections as Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology/Mathematics. All the questions asked in the examination will mainly from what you have learnt in 10+2 of State Board of Higher Secondary Education as well as the CBSE syllabus followed in central schools.

Candidates who are appearing for the Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English paper in the examination will be eligible to apply for B.Tech degree programme in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, and B.Tech. In CSE with specialization in Bioinformatics as well as B.Tech. In ECE with specialization in Biomedical Engineering programmes.
Candidates taking the examination in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English subjects will be eligible to apply for any stream in the B.Tech degree programme.
