The process of filling the application form of UPTET 2018 has been obstructed due to the technical glitch occurred on the official website upbasiceduboard.gov.in.
The registration process started on September 18 and till now almost 4 Lakh students have been registered for the UP Teachers Eligibility Test (UP-TET). However, the process is slowed down because of the issues arising on the website from last 5 days. The candidates are not able to complete the application form even after multiple attempts. The website is slowed down and responses are being delayed.
Deepankar Banerjee, one of the aspirants who is trying to fill the form since Tuesday evening but failed said "Our every minute counts and here hours are being wasted due to snag in the server. The online form is being filled after several attempts as the server hangs in between or shows error whenever the form is submitted resulting in wastage of precious time.”
The aspirants are now losing their cool and asked interference of Exam Regulatory Authority (ERA) to get the issue shorted at high priority. ERA acknowledge the issue and admitted that the glitch occurred due to the increased number of applicants.
The conducting authority has made it obligatory to fill the application form online. Candidate will be able to fill the application form before October 4 by 6:00 PM and application fee can be submitted till October 5. The candidate who is still thinking to get themselves registered for the examination can check the application process here.
The issue is not new, earlier also in the year 2015, the issue arises because of the increased number of applications received for the exam. The authority at that time took a quick action and extended the last day of application to help the students apply whose application process was not completed in the mean registration time period. Candidates accepting the same even this year, however, the decision on the same is still pending.
