UPTET Exam is scheduled to be released in 2 parts – For teachers belonging to Grades 1-5 and those of Grades 6-8 which would be containing objective questions. The UPTET Application Procedure closed on September 8, 2017.
The UPTET Admit Cards are scheduled to be released by this week. Candidates who have applied for the exam can visit the official website to download the admit cards. UPTET would be conducted for teachers of Grades 1 to 8 on October 15, 2017. Other important timelines relating to the exam are as follows:
Date of Examination – 15 October 2017
Answer Key Availability – 17 October 2017
Last date for submission of objections – 21 October 2017
The steps to download the UPTET Admit Card are as follows:
1. The candidate would have to login through the official website.
2. The UPTET Link would need to be clicked.
3. The option for downloading the UPTET Admit Card would need to be done.
4. Once the details are submitted, admit card would become downloadable.
5. A printout of admit card can be taken for future reference.
A candidate would not be able to download UPTET Admit card in case of the following discrepancies:
· Incomplete Application Form
· Internet Speed being too low
· Incorrect credentials being entered
The procedure to retrieve forgotten application number and password are as follows:
1. If a candidate does not recollect his application number, the same can be retrieved by clicking on “Forgot Application Link” after which a window would open and the following details would be asked – Name of the candidate, DOB, Mobile Number and Email ID.
2. You may submit the same and download the admit card.
3. The UPTET Admit card must be kept safe for all purposes.
The details that are printed on UPTET Admit card are follows:
· The UPTET Admit card would contain details regarding attempt of Paper 1 or Paper 2.
· Certain other details include – Language, UPTET Exam center, Date and Slot, Roll number, Signature and Photograph of the candidate.
· If any discrepancy exists in the paper, the candidate would be able to contact the UPTET authorities and correct them before the date of the examination.
· The UPTET Admit card is required to be checked and verified by the candidate for all purposes required.
· Any kind of mismatch in the admit card would result in the disqualification of the candidate.
UPTET is scheduled to be conducted across 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. It would be conducted in over 2 shifts across 200 exam centers in Uttar Pradesh.
Take care of the following on the day of the exam:
· UPTET Admit Card is required to be mandatorily carried to the examination hall.
· The candidate is required to reach the examination hall at least 45 minutes prior to the scheduled time of the examination.
· No electronic gadgets would be allowed inside the examination hall.
Candidates are required to have a valid photo ID Proof on the day of the examination
