UPTET 2018: Examination timing changed

UPTET 2018 which is scheduled to be conducted in 2 days i.e November 18, 2018, had changed its scheduled time. Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) the conducting body of the said examination has mentioned that the timing of Higher Primary Level Examination of UPTET is changed and now the exam will be conducted between 03:00 pm to 5:30 pm. As per the previous notification the examination was scheduled to be conducted on November 18 between 2:30 to 5:00 pm. For candidates appearing for the Primary level examination of UPTET 2018, there is no change and the exam will be conducted on the same scheduled time of 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.

uptet 2018 UPTET 2018 Admit card has already been released on the official website of UPTET and the same can be downloaded. Candidates who still has not downloaded the hall tickets have a couple of hours left to do so and are suggested to visit the official website upbasiceduboard.gov.in to download UPTET Admit Card. Candidates should remember that the Admit card is the mandatory document to appear for the examination and in absence of the same candidate will not be allowed in the examination centre. This year as the number of applicants was very high and approximately 1.15 lakhs application were received within the four days of the opening of the application window, some of the students faced technical issues in the application process of UPTET 2018.

There is no change in UPTET 2018 Exam pattern and candidate will have to appear for an offline mode examination and the question paper will have 150 multiple choice questions. Each question will carry 1 mark for correct answers. Considering the fact that only 2 days left for the examination candidates needs to keep themselves very calm and follow some last minute UPTET 2018 preparation tips to excel the examination.

Candidate along with Admit card needs to carry one government-approved Identity proof and one qualification certificate (Both originals) to the examination hall. The same will be evaluated by the invigilator present at the exam centre and after that candidate will be allowed to sit for the examination. After successful completion of the examination, OMR Sheet and Answer Key of UPTET 2018 will be published online for candidates in case of any concern or discrepancy. The result is scheduled to be released by end of this month.
