UPSEE 2017 : Counselling

UPSEE 2017 counselling will commence from the last week of June 2017. Five rounds of counselling session will be held to provide the candidates with the right college. The Third round of counselling is for SC candidates only. Selected candidates of SC/ST and General category who will opt for floating option in the second round of counselling will get seat allotment directly in round 4. Candidates should carry relevant documents at the exam centre. Candidates must register beforehand using their Application Number, Password and Security Pin for the counselling session.

The counselling process for UPSEE 2017:
 
Step 1- Registration
 
First, qualified candidates have to register themselves for the UPSEE 2017 counselling process, and they have to repeat it for every round of registration except for the last round. General candidates have to pay Rs. 20,000/- and OBC candidates can pay Rs. 12,000/- as a registration fee. If a candidate fails in paying the fee, their candidature will be cancelled.
 
 Step 2- Choice Filling
 
After registration, candidates will log in and submit their choice for the colleges and courses. If a candidate is qualified to participate in more than one course, then they should fill the options for all the programmes/branches together.
 
Step 3- Document Verification
 
After the first two steps for all the courses and colleges, the candidate can report to any of the UPSEE verification centres for document verification. If the authorities are not satisfied with the documents submitted by the candidate, then he/she will be disqualified from the UPSEE 2017 counselling.

UPSEE 2017 Admit Card
Marksheet of X and XII class
Character certificate issued by the last institute attended
Medical Fitness Certificate issued by the competent authority
Domicile Certificate
OBC/SC/ST category certificate
Sub-category certificate (For candidates belonging to Freedom Fighters/Armed Forces/Physically Handicapped category)
Income Certificate (for economically weak candidates)
GDDA category
Rural Weightage Certificate
 
Step 4- Seat Allocation
 
After the completion of all the formalities, the UPSEE 2017 Seat Allotment Results will be available online, and candidates can check it via login.
 
Step 5- Confirmation of Seats
 
Candidates have to confirm the status of the seat; It will be done online. Following options will be provided for this:
 
Freeze Option: if the Candidate is satisfied with the seat they have to select this option.
 
Float Option: if the candidate is not satisfied and want an upgrade to the seat in the next round they will choose this option.
 
Withdraw Option: if the Candidate is not satisfied with the seat provided to him, he can choose this option but after this, he can't participate in any round of counselling, so It is better to choose Float Option.
 
Step 6- Reporting to the College
 
Last, the candidates have to physically go and report to the college where the seat is allotted to him with the provisional allotment letter. If the candidate does not do this, the seat will be cancelled automatically.
