UPSC Civil Services Mains DAF Form Last Date is Ending!!

UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2017 exam results had already announced by the Union Service Public Commission on 27th July 2017, and the UPSC Civil Services Mains Exam is scheduled on 28th October 2017. The candidates who have successfully cleared the Civil Services Prelims 2017 exam has to mandatory fill the UPSC IAS DAF (Detailed Application Form) released by the UPSC and submit it before the last date. 
 
UPSC has released the notification of DAF form on 18th August 2017. The last date to online submits the DAF form is 31st August 2017.
 
Tips related to DAF Form-
  • The candidates are highly advised not to wait for the last date to fill the DAF form and avoid last time rush.
  • On 31st August 2017, the candidate is eligible to fill the DAF form till 06:00 pm in the evening. After that, the candidate cannot submit the DAF form in any case.
  • Fill the DAF form carefully as it is a very crucial document that may ponder an impact on the candidate's career in the Civil services including the postings.
  • The candidate has to fill all the 8 parts in the DAF form. Please ensure that no category of information asked is left blank.
  • Fill the DAF form in the medium of language in which you are writing the UPSC Civil Services Mains Exam.
  • Send the original copy of the UPSC DAF form than the print preview copy of it.
  • The candidate has to sign all the pages of the DAF form in the space provided by the UPSC.
 
The candidates have to mention the service preference in the DAF form. The candidates who will clear the UPSC Civil Services Mains 2017 will be called for the Interviews by the UPSC. The Civil services Board may ask the questions related to service selection, and other details from DAF form.
