The Online Registration process for University Grant Commission National Eligibility Test, commonly known as UGC NET has commenced. The UGC NET December 2018 examination is scheduled to be conducted from December 9 to December 23, 2018, and this time the examination will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Earlier, until July 2018, the examination was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The last date to apply for UGC NET 2018 examination is September 30, 2018. The Candidates seeking to appear for NET 2018 examination must visit the official website of NTA at nta.nic.in and complete the application process.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the National Testing Agency at nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on ‘NTA Exams’ link available on the homepage.
Step 3: Select UGC NET examination from the list of examinations.
Step 4: A new page will appear. Click on ‘Fill Application Form’ link available on the bottom of the screen.
Step 5: Another page will appear, showing two different option. If you are already a registered candidate then provide your Application Number, Password, Security Pin and Proceed further. However, in case of new candidate click on ‘Apply for UGC-NET December-2018’ link available on the screen.
Step 6: Read all the instructions meticulously and tick the option to acknowledge your understanding regarding terms and conditions and proceed further.
Step 7: Authentication Form will appear on the screen. Provide the required information and submit the form.
Step 8: After filling the Application Form, Upload the scanned images and proceed further.
Step 9: Pay the application fee either through Online or Offline mode. Online mode includes Debit Card, Credit Card and Net Banking and in case of Offline Mode, you need to generate e-challan and make the payment at nearest Syndicate, Canara or ICICI Bank.
Step 10: Once the Application Fee is paid, your online application process will complete. Take a print out of the ‘Confirmation page’ for future references.
