Tips for doing well in TOEFL

TOEFL is an internet based test based on a scale of 0-120. Following are the tips any student must consider to do well.

  • A lot of paid and free practice tools are available to students to help you get ready for the TOEFL test.
  • The test usually takes 4.5 hours with a mandatory 10 minute break in-between.
  • You are required to maintain your speed throughout the exam as giving up on that parameter may cost you real bad.
  • Cell phones and other digital or electronic devices are not permitted in the exam.
  • If you are slow at typing, ensure you get adequate practice to boost your speed.
  • One of the sections in the test, would include extra, uncounted material.
  • You can evaluate your progress status by practicing online tests.
