The UPTET Application Procedure deadline closes on September 8, 2017!

The UPTET Exam convening authority has notified the timelines associated with the exam. The interested candidates are expected to apply in the desired format by tomorrow, 8th September 2017.UPTET Exam would be held on October 15, 2017, across various test centers in India.
The UPTET Application Procedure for 2017 is briefed below:
- Log in to the official website,upbasiceduboard.gov.in
- Click on the UPTET link on the official page.
- There would be a link available for notification, application and other links.
- You can click on the Apply Online option.
- You can enter the required details.
- Once the payment process is complete, you can submit the same.
UPTET consists of 2 papers - Paper 1 for Grade 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for Grade 6 to 8.Those candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria for both the papers can exercise an option of attempting both of them. The exam would be consisting predominantly objective questions type.
The Important Dates associated with the same have been detailed as follows:
- Last Date for Registration - September 8 ( 6 pm)
- Last Date for Submission of Application fee - September 11
- Online Application Process completion deadline - September 13 (6 pm)
- Application Form Correction - September 15( 12 pm) -19 (6 pm).
Recently, the Supreme Court also provided a new ray of hope to the "Shiksha Mitra" in UP, by not removing them from employment and giving them an opportunity to clear UPTET by way of a maximum of 2 attempts. This case was appealed to the Supreme Court after Allahabad High Court issued an order of cancelling the employment of close to 1.72 Lakh candidates who were "Shiksha Mitras". Their experience was acknowledged and the Supreme Court made it clear that UPTET was needed to be given to become an Assistant Teacher.
