SSC CHSL Exam Details have been released

Staff Selection Commission has released the Official Notification for Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) exam in the year 2017. This exam is held to select candidates for the job descriptions such as Lower Divisional Clerk, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operator and would be held in the month of March 2018.

The SSC CHSL Tier Examination would be held in July 2018. The SSC CHSL Registration would be open until 18 December 2017

Candidates aged in the range of 18-27 years with a qualification of 10+2 would be eligible to apply for the SSC CHSL Examination. 

The online application can be submitted on the official website by payment of fees of INR 100 that can be paid through SBI Challan/Net Banking or by use of Visa/Mastercard/Credit/Debit card.

SSC CGL Tier 1 result was announced in the month of October. About 1.5 Lakh candidates have qualified the SSC CGL Examination and would be eligible for the subsequent phase scheduled to be held in the month of December.

The Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier 2 and Tier 3) Examination scheduled to be held from 21st December to 24 December 2017 as per the released official notification.

Online Registration for SSC JE had ended yesterday and the examination would be held in January 2018. The Computer Based Examination would be held from January 5 to 8, 2018. Only Male candidates would be eligible for the posts of Junior Engineers in Border Roads Organization associated with the Ministry of Defence.

The eligibility criteria for the same are as follows:

Candidates with degree/diploma in various disciplines are eligible to apply for the posts.

Candidates are also required to satisfy the age limit that is set by the Commission, details of which can be found from the official notification.

Degree/Diploma awarded through Open and Distance Learning mode of education by the universities that is established by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature, Institutions deemed to be Universities as per Section 3 of the University Grant Commission Act 1956 and Institutes of National Importance declared by an Act of Parliament that is automatically recognized for the purpose of employment to various posts.

Candidates would have to pay INR 100 towards the application fee. Zero fees for women candidates and candidates that belong to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe, Physically handicapped and Ex-servicemen. The written exam would be comprised of two papers :

Paper 1 that would be comprised of questions that are related to General Intelligence Reasoning, General Awareness, General Engineering (Civil, Structural, Electrical or Mechanical).

Paper 2 would be consisting of questions from General Engineering in which candidates would be given about 2 hours to appear for the examination.Candidates can bring their calculator, log tables and slide rules.
