SSC CHSL 2020 Exam Postponed Due to Coronavirus Outbreak. Check New Schedule!

SSC CHSL and SSC JE Examinations that were scheduled to be conducted in the month of March 2020 have been postponed due to the worldwide spread of the deadly Corona Virus. As per the recent official notification, the commission has announced the postponement of the exams on the online portal of its official website i.e. ssc.nic.in. SSC CHSL Tier-1 (2019-2020) started from 17th March 2020 and was scheduled to be conducted till 28th March 2020. The official notification stays put on exams from 20th March and onwards.
Besides, SSC JE (2019-20) Tier-1 was scheduled to be conducted from 30th March 2020 to 2nd April 2020 which has now been postponed in order to prevent the spread of Corona Virus amongst the students.
SSC CHSL and SSC JE Exams Rescheduled
The official notification released by the commission states-
“As a precautionary measure, in view to COVID-19, it has been decided by public interest, to postpone the Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 20th March 2020.
Similarly, the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Surveying & Contract) Examination (Paper-I) 2019, to commence from 30th March 2020 has also been postponed.
Fresh schedules for these examinations will be announced in due course. Candidates are advised to visit the website of the Commission regularly for updates.”
Candidates must keep a close watch on the official website of SSC in order to be aware of the new schedule that will be released by the commission. The new notification along with new schedule will be released on the official website of SSC i.e. ssc.nic.in.
