SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Dates postponed

By: R Chandrakala on Apr 22, 2023

SSC CGL Exam Dates have been again extended by the Staff Selection Commission. The Commission has extended the exam dates and the SSC CGL Dates and Schedule. The SSC CGL Aspirants who have cracked the SSC CGL Preliminary examination would have to schedule their study plan for SSC CGL Tier 2 and set their preparation strategies accordingly.

The Staff Selection Commission has released a revised notification for the SSC CGL Tier 2 examination dates which would be available on the SSC CGL Official Website. The SSC CGL Aspirants are expected to keep a tab on the notifications that would be released on the official website. Earlier, the SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam was held on November 10, 2017 once after the SSC CGL Result declaration. The dates further got delayed by a month.

Finally, owing to the revision, the exam dates of SSC CGL has been extended to January 2018. The tentative dates for SSC CGL Tier 2 would be 18th January 2018 to 20th January 2018. The four day SSC CGL Examination has been reduced to a 3 day affair. While this assures ample time for the candidates to prepare well considering the time extension, for some candidates this might test their patience as in the event of delay of holding the exam, the candidates would not be able to plan their future course of action.

There might be several reasons for such delays exercised by the Commission regarding the notification. The aspirants should not believe rumors and keep a tab on the notifications released in the website to stay updated on relevant news and changes. Usually, delays are on account of either festivals, change in the SSC CGL Exam Pattern or other reasons that the Staff Selection Commission on a usual basis may not disclose.
