SSC CGL: Schedule released at ssc.nic.in, Exam from June 4

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for Combined Graduate Level examination, known as SSC CGL on the official website at ssc.nic.in. SSC CGL examination is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission every year to select candidates for Group B and Group C posts across the country.

According to the notification released by the examination conducting board, SSC CGL Tier 1 examination will be conducted from June 4, 2019, to June 19, 2019. SSC CGL Tier 2 examination will be conducted from September 11 to September 13, 2019. Tier 3 examination will be conducted on December 29, 2019.

Who can apply for SSC CGL Exam?

According to the notification released by SSC, the following is the eligibility criteria of SSC CGL:

Academics:

Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer

  • Essential qualification: Candidate must complete Bachelor's degree on or before August 1, 2019.
  • Desirable Qualification: CA or CS or MBA-finance

Junior Statistical Officer

  • Graduate in any subject and must have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate in mathematics during class XII, OR,
  • Graduate in any subject with Statistics as the core subject.

Age Limit:

The age limit varies from one post to another. Following is the post-wise Age Limit for SSC CGL exam:

How to Fill SSC CGL Application Form?

Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in

Step 2: Enter your credentials i.e. email ID, mobile number and password

Step 3: Provide the required personal and academic details

Step 4: Check the details mentioned in the application form before submitting the form

Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit the form

Step 6: Take a print out of confirmation page for further reference
