The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is likely to release the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 exam dates for the year 2018. According to the notification released, the Staff Selection Commission was supposed to conduct the Tier 1 examination from July 25, 2018, to August 20, 2018. However, later a new examination calendar was released by the Commission on the official website of SSC i.e. ssc.nic.in. which notified the delay in the scheduled examination. According to the news reported by the media, the dates are expected to be released soon.

SSC CGL 2018 Tier 1 examination is expected to be conducted in the month of September or October 2018, and the examination schedule will be released by the end of August. According to a news released by TimesNow, the SSC CGL 2018 Tier 1 examination might be delayed due to on-going RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) ALP Technician Exam 2018. Sources have suggested that the examination centres which are being used by the Railway Recruitment Board are also used by the Staff Selection Commission. In order to avoid the clashes between the examination, the SSC CGL 2018 exams have been delayed.
SSC CGL 2018 Tier 1 examination will comprise of four sections i.e. General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. Each section will carry 25 questions and the time duration for Tier 1 examination will be 60 minutes.
