SNAP 2016 Preparation Tips

SNAP 2016 will be conducted on 18 December, 2016. There are 4 Sections in the exam and the total time duration is 120 minutes. These Sections are:

Section 1– Reading Comprehension, Verbal Ability, Verbal Reasoning – 40 marks
Section 2– Quantitative Aptitude – 40 marks
Section 3– General Knowledge – 40 marks
Section 4– Logical Reasoning – 60 marks

Inorder to prepare for the exam, one should be well aware of the SNAP 2016 Syllabus. Here are some of the section wise preparation tips and strategies that one must keep in mind.

General Knowledge

For the preparation of this section in SNAP, one must begin by reading the Manorama Yearbook 2016. It will also prove to be helpful in the Group Discussions, Written Ability Test, and the Personal Interviews.
Apart from that, keep reading a national daily (preferably The Hindu or the Times Of India). The editorial sections of these newspapers are a must read. Also if possible, try to get a hang of the GK material provided by coaching institutes like CL, TIME and others every year.
One can also find Pratiyogita Darpan quite useful for current GK.
Be aware that the questions asked in this section are not run of the mill and considerable knowledge is required on the part of students. Business GK, Current GK, corporate, economics etc areas are some favorites of this exam.
