SNAP 2018: Last date to apply is November 26

Symbiosis International Deemed University (SIU) which conduct SNAP entrance examination every year for admission in management courses in the 15 colleges affiliated to SIU has recently released a notification regarding the last date of registration for SNAP 2018. The SNAP 2018 Registration process started on August 28 and the window for application is closing on November 26 by 5:00 pm. Candidates who are still not applied for the same are suggested to visit the official website snaptest.org at earliest to complete the registration process.

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a national level entrance examination conducted every year and this year the exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 16, 2018. Candidates qualifying the entrance examination are eligible to take admission in MBA / MSc (SS) / MSc (CA) programmes offered by institutes which are part of the University (SNAP Participating Institutes in India) and other colleges of India accepting SNAP 2018 score.

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria of the SNAP entrance exam can visit the official website snaptest.org and apply for the same. Unlike other entrance examination, the process to pay application fee of SNAP is quite different, the candidate needs to pay the application fee in 2 steps. In the first step of payment to fill the application form candidate needs to pay Rs. 1750 as application fee and after that candidate needs to pay Rs. 1000 for each preferred course and college. The payment can be done in both online (net banking/credit card/debit card) as well as offline mode (through Demand Draft). It is important to note that only fee payment can be done offline, other than that entire application process is online.

In the latest notification released by the respective board of the examination, there are changes in SNAP 2018 Exam pattern. One of the major change is reduced number of total questions, earlier the SNAP question paper used to have a total of 150 questions, which in the current year is reduced to 130. There is a different segment introduced in the question paper which are subjective type questions called “Special Question”. There will be 20 questions in this particular section. The marking scheme is, however, is the same and for every incorrect answer, 25% marks will be deducted from the total mark value of that particular question. Candidates are advised to have a depth knowledge of SNAP Syllabus and not miss out the important topics, this will also help in organized preparation of SNAP exam.

Candidates who have already applied for the examination before October 21, 2018, have received the SNAP Test Centre already. For the candidates applying post that will have to wait for SNAP 2018 Admit Card as their respective test centre will be mentioned in that. SNAP 2018 Result is scheduled to be released by 2^nd Week of January 2019.
