Recruitment in SBI: Work from home for all employees

SBI is well-respected for being known as a brand that places employee- centric initiatives first and foremost. This has been proved again with the introduction of Work from Home facility for all the employees.
The SBI PO exam has been scheduled for the month end and this has been a major reason for the SBI PO aspirants to work hard to make it up there.
This facility was started by ICICI Bank earlier, it was only for women employees.
It offers the following advantages:
- Freedom to work with mobile phones
- Working on a priority basis
- The devices have been connected to the bank server protected by adequate security measures
- Monitoring would be done at a central level
- With the onset of recruitment in SBI, monitoring of claims and complaints would be comprehensive across all employees and banks.
There are a few cons associated with this as well:
- This is an employee centric move considering only the benefits that the students would be given
- The productivity of the employee would become difficult to monitor which would be needed to be taken acre of.
- The employee must have a precise reason for not visiting the branch
