JEE Main 2021 – Now that JEE Main Result 2021 for March session has been released, students are eagerly waiting for reputed institutions such as IITs and NITs to announce their cut offs for admission. In the year 2020, the highest rank at which the admission was closed for admission was 2043. This was meant for students belonging to unreserved category seeking admission to B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. The National Institutes of Technology shortlist candidates for admission based on students' performance in JEE main Exam conduced by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This year, JEE Main Exam is being conducted during four sessions i.e. February, March, April, and May.
Most of the engineering students across the country seek admission to B. Tech in Computer Science and Technology as it is the most popular stream in engineering. Candidates seeking admission to this stream will be required to qualify JEE Main Exam and participate in JoSAA Counseling (Joint Seat Allocation Authority Counseling). The counseling procedure of JoSAA generally begins after JEE Advanced Exam is concluded. JoSAA counseling is conducted for admission to NITs, IITs, and the other GFTIs.
Last year, JoSAA conducted six rounds of counseling based on which, we have mentioned the ranks at which the National Institutes of Technology closed admission to B. Tech in Computer Science in Engineering. The ranks have been mentioned for students belonging to unreserved category only.
NITs will release the JEE Main Cut Off 2021 for admission to B. Tech in Computer Science during the JoSAA Counseling Results. Check here the last year's closing ranks:
