National Testing Agency (NTA) the newly formed organization by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development (GoI) is all set to conduct 3 important entrance examination of the country this month. NTA in the month of January 2019 will conduct JEE Main 2019, CMAT 2019 and GPAT-2019 back to back and all will be conducted online.
Joint Entrance Examination Main is the engineering entrance examination conducted every year for admission in some of the renowned engineering colleges of India. Before the year 2019 the exam was conducted once in a year but since NTA has taken charge JEE Main will be conducted twice in a year. JEE Main is one of the most popular entrance examinations of the country and this year about 9.5 Lakhs Candidate to appear for the Entrance Examination. Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is conducted for admission in management courses whereas Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is conducted for admission in pharmacy courses.
Why this year is so important for entrance examinations?
This will be the first time since existence when these examinations will be conducted based on a fully online format. For the candidates, it will be a whole new experience in the new examination pattern. The authority, however, to make candidates familiar with the improvised examination mode is running mock tests for the respective examinations on its website.
Talking of JEE Main 2019 in particular which is scheduled to be conducted from January 8, 2019, to January 12, 2019, is the 1st session of the examination. The next and last session of the examination for the present year will be conducted in the month of April. Considering the very little time left for the candidates they really need to race up JEE Main Preparation. Candidates who dreamed about getting into one of the reputed engineering institutes of India i.e Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) not just need to qualify JEE Main but to get some of the top ranks to get qualified for JEE Advanced, the gateway of IIT.
There are questions rising on the security of the examinations as these are completely online examinations and to answer that NTA has released statement calming to install jammers across all the examination centers to make sure not a single candidate take the examination with unfair means.
