NTA Releases Revised JEE Main Syllabus of B.E./B. Tech, B. Arch, and B. Planning for JEE Main Exam 2021

JEE Main Exam 2021 – The National Testing Agency, also known as NTA, the conducting body of JEE Main Examination has recently released JEE Main Syllabus for JEE Main 2021. Candidates who have been preparing for JEE Main Exam can now check JEE Main Syllabus by visiting the official website of JEE Main or NTA i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in. Since the examination is scheduled to be held during four sessions i.e. February, March, April, and May, the examination conducting authority released JEE Main Syllabus in order to help students understand the various topics asked in the examination. Before downloading the syllabus for JEE Main, candidates will be required to log into their respective portals.

JEE Main Syllabus has been released for Paper 1 B.E./B. Tech (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics), Paper 2 B. Arch (Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing), and Paper 3 B. Planning (Mathematics, Aptitude, and Planning)

Note* Candidates appearing for B. Arch paper are advised to bring pencils. Own geometry box set, crasets and color pencils and crayons for the Drawing Test.

How to Check Revised JEE Main Syllabus?

In order to make it convenient for students, we have shared a link to Revised Syllabus of JEE Main at the end of this article. Students can navigate to the link and click on it to check and download JEE Main Syllabus.

As per a note by NTA:

"The NTA has decided to provide choices in one section (Section B) to cater to the decision of different Boards across the country regarding the reduction of the syllabus. However, the total number of questions to be attempted will remain the same (Physics – 25, Chemistry – 25 and Mathematics – 25), wherever applicable."

As per the previous announcements by the authority, JEE Main Syllabus remained unchanged despite the considerable reduction in class 12th board syllabus. Now that there is 30% reduction in syllabus of CBSE Board Exams, there are various changed introduced in JEE Main Syllabus and the revised syllabus has been released on the official website of JEE Main and NTA.

The revised JEE Main Syllabus primarily covers important topics from class 10th and 12th.

The announcement of the official and revised JEE Main Syllabus for JEE Main Exam 2021 has put an end to all the hypothesis made about changes in syllabus while keeping in mind the current COVID-19 pandemic situation.

After having gone through the revised syllabus of JEE Main, aspirants of JEE Main Exam will be advised to go through the revised JEE Main Exam Pattern for the exams scheduled to be conducted in the academic year 2021.
