NEET UG 2020 – The outbreak of COVID-19 has resulted into postponement of several examinations and a proper lockdown across the country. Various exams' (which have been postponed or canceled) notifications regarding exam dates, exam registration, and many more are being published on their official websites. One such notification released on the official website of NEET Exam i.e. ntaneet.nic.in clarifies that there would be no changes in the Syllabus of NEET 2020 examination yet to be conducted. The final date or the revised scheduled of the examination hasn't been disclosed yet due to the current ongoing lockdown.
The examination is supposed to be held during the last week of May 2020 but considering the extended deadline of COVID-19 lockdown, which is 3rd May 2020, we can say that the examination cannot be conducted anytime soon.

NEET 2020 Syllabus and Fake Notices
The National Testing Agency (NTA) issued a notice on its as well as NEET's official website stating that there have been no changes introduced in the exam syllabus of NEET UG 2020. Another notice posted on the official website states clarification on some fake notices being circulated about the changes in NEET 2020 Syllabus.

These notices generally contain the fake information about changes in NEET Syllabus which is incorrect.
The National Testing Agency states:
“All candidates preparing for NEET 2020 are hereby informed that there is NO change in Syllabus of NEET.”
NEET 2020 Exam had been previously scheduled to be conducted on 3rd May 2020 was later postponed by NTA considering COVID-19 outbreak situation in order to prevent it from spreading amongst the students. As of now, the examination has been scheduled (tentatively) to be held during the last week of May 2020 and no further notification regarding the revised schedule of NEET 2020 has been issued yet.
About NEET Question Paper

The question paper of NEET is divided in three sections namely Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Biology section is further divided into two subsections namely Botany and Zoology.

The number of questions in section Physics and Chemistry would be 45 each and there would be 90 questions in Biology later bifurcated as 45 questions each in Botany and Zoology.

Each correct answer would be rewarded with +4 marks and for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted as penalty.

There would be 11 languages including Hindi and English in which the examination will be conducted, and candidates are allowed to choose any of the language as per their convenience.

Candidates who choose English as their exam language will be provided the exam booklet In English language only while candidates choosing any other language will be given bilingual test booklet.
The syllabus of NEET Exam remains common as notified by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Candidates appearing in NEET Exam can also visit the official website of MCI and download NEET Syllabus from there. The entire syllabus of NEET Exam covers topics from CBSE and NCERT (class 11th and 12th) along with state board syllabi.
