NTA Delays JEE Main 2020 Exam Due to Corona Virus. Read to Know New Dates!

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the postponement of JEE Main 2020 Examination which was scheduled to be conducted in the month of April on 5th, 7th, 9th, and 11th April 2020. These measures have been taken due to the outbreak of pandemic Corona Virus across the country. There have been found various cases of people being infected from the virus, hence in order to prevent the spread of the virus among students, NTA has decided to postpone the examination.

The decision of delaying of all the examinations including JEE Main 2020 was taken by the Indian Government. The new schedule of JEE Main 2020 is not yet disclosed by the conducting authority but it is rumored to be released on 31st March 2020.

Students who have applied for the examination can visit JEE Main Exam Pattern to understand the pattern of question paper and the type of questions asked in the exam.

Candidates who applied for the examination and are waiting for their admit card to be released must keep a close watch on the official website of JEE Main i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in to keep themselves aware of the most recent notifications released by the examination conducting authority i.e. National Testing Agency (NTA).

JEE Main Syllabus might come in handy for students preparing for the examination yet to be conducted in the month of April 2020.

On Wednesday i.e. 18th March 2020, a directive was issued to all the education regulators and CBSE by the Ministry of Human Resource Development which ordered them to postpone all the exams and stop the evaluation or paper for now to prevent the spread of deadly virus.

Amit Khare, the HRD Secretary mentions that the JEE Main Aspirants might require travel in order to appear in the examination this is why its must be rescheduled and the new schedule of the examination will be announced on 31st March 2020 after the then current situation is reassessed.
