As everyone is aware, the second edition of “NMATprepbyGMAC'' had been launched on June 16,2016. This tool was designed to enable students a systematic preparation for the NMAT by GMAC exam to gain entry into one of 17 academic institutions that accept these scores. This tool has been revamped a little in comparison to the previous one to help students experience the actual exam environment incorporating the same outline and frame.
It offers the NMAT by GMAC examinee the following advantages:
One free practice test with 120 questions available to all
An exam package consisting of 2 more mock exams priced at INR 499 plus taxes.
Solutions with explanations
Scaled score provided for the exam with relevant insights and feedback
The practice exams are structured to exactly resemble the NMAT by GMAC exam. This tool is available on the official website of NMAT by GMAC. NMAT 2016 is a 2-hour test containing multiple choice questions. There are three sections: Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning. Each section is individually timed. Following are the characteristics:
· Test takers need to answer the questions of each section within the allotted section time. Once the test taker completes a section, whether the test taker selects to move to the next section or if time runs out, the test taker will not be able to return to that section.
· Test takers cannot add the remaining time of one section to other sections. If a test taker completes answering and reviewing a section before the allotted section time expires, the test taker may choose either to revise their answers in the section or move to the next section, but the balance time cannot be added on to the next section timing.
· Candidates can choose the Date, Time, and Location according to their convenience.
· Three Attempts: Candidates can take the test three times in an admission cycle – one exam and two retakes.
· Choosing the section order: Candidates can choose the order of sections in the test. For instance, one can opt to attempt QA section first followed VA and LR.
Reviewing: You can review your answers at the end of each section so you always have the opportunity to revise if you're not sure of your original response.
· No negative marking: “The system of no negative marking is in line with global practices,” stated an official GMAC release.
