New Exam Date of JEE Advanced 2020 Disclosed by the HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal

JEE Advanced 2020 – After the release of JEE Main 2020 Exam, the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi also known as IIT Delhi has announced the exam date of JEE Advanced 2020. As per the new scheduled released on the official website of JEE Advanced, the exam is all set to be conducted on 23^rd August 2020. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank', the Union Minister of Human Resource Development (HRD), on 7^th May 2020 announced the revised date of JEE Advanced 2020 Exam and the exam will be conducted after JEE Main 2020 is concluded successfully in July 2020.

The HRD Minister announced the new and revised schedule of JEE Main 2020 on 5^th May 2020 during an online webinar on Twitter where he interacted with students across the country and answered their questions.

JEE Advanced 2020 is scheduled to be conducted on 23^rd August 2020

The top 2,50,000 candidates who successfully qualify JEE Main 2020 will be considered eligible to take JEE Advanced 2020. The number may increase in case of tied scores or ranks. Previously, JEE Advanced 2020 was scheduled to be conducted on 17^th May 2020 which was later postponed due to COVID-19 situation.

JEE Advanced Exam is conducted for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology across the country. Candidates who get to qualify JEE Main Exam are considered eligible to take JEE Advanced Exam. JEE Main 2020 exam is scheduled to be conducted from 18^th July 2020 to 23^rd July 2020. Given the new schedule of JEE Advanced 2020, we can assume that after concluding JEE Main 2020 successfully, its result is expected to be announced before 10^th August 2020.

Students must also notice that the online application procedure of JEE Advanced 2020 will begin only after the result of JEE Main 2020 along with JEE Main 2020 Ranks is announced.
The announcement of revised schedule of JEE Advanced 2020 would help students prepare for the exam more efficiently.
JEE Advanced Exam is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted in online mode and it is held for two papers.
