The online application form for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2018 is slated to begin from 31 January 2018. As per the reports of media houses, the NEET Notification would be released by end of January. There has been no update so far on the release of the date of online application forms on the website of CBSE.

The NEET Entrance examination is slated to be conducted on May 10, 2018, across various centers. NEET is a national level examination that is conducted for various MBBS and BDS or medical and dental colleges all over the country. The NEET 2018 Scores would be put to use by Government, Government aided and private medical colleges as the eligibility factor for admissions all over the country.
Eligible candidates would be applying to various popular medical colleges in the countries such as AFMC, SRMCR Chennai, Government Medical College Hospital to mention a reputed few of the huge number of such institutes.
The candidates wishful of making a medical career are advised to check the NEET Page from time to time for any notifications related to NEET UG 2018. The notification would be available online.
In the previous year, NEET Application Form, as well as notification, was released on January 31, 2017.
NEET Examination is held in the month of May and NEET Results are declared in the month of June.
The Medical Council of India has announced that National Eligibility cum Entrance Test would be held on May 10. The MCI had also made it clear that the admission formalities for medical and dental courses should be scheduled to completed latest by August 18, 2017. While the NEET Results would be announced in the month of June, the NEET Admissions would begin in deemed universities from August 31. The Medical Council of India seems to be in a discussion over the probability of holding NEET Twice a year. This possibility is being explored to ensure that aspirants have a better chance of attempting NEET.
In the year 2016, The Supreme Court had made NEET Mandatory and a uniform examination that would determine medical admissions - undergraduate and postgraduate. AIIMS and JIPMER are the only exclusive exams that would be conducted for their respective campuses apart from AIIMS.
In the year 2017, all students in the open category who had been admitted to medical colleges had cleared NEET with a score of 131 marks out of 720. The candidates admitted in the reserved category scored at least 107 marks. Since Board Exams have the concept of the supplementary test, exams like JEE Main and NEET are also expected to follow the same.
