NEET 2019 is scheduled to be conducted on May 5, 2019, for admission in MBBS and BDS courses offered by various medical and dental institutes across the country. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting NEET examination for the first time. The candidates aspiring to appear for NEET 2019, must register before November 30, 2018, on the official website of NTA at ntaneet.nic.in.

#1. Who can apply for NEET 2019?
The candidates who have completed class XII with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as the mandatory subjects from a recognized board can apply for the examination. The candidates who completed class XII from open school cannot apply for the examination. The candidates with biology and biotechnology as an additional subject are not eligible to appear for NEET, according to the NTA. However, the matter is still in court and such candidates must register themselves before November 30.

Foreign candidates who are aspiring to appear for NEET 2019 must ensure that the class XII examination that they have passed must be equivalent to the intermediate science examination of an Indian University.
#3. What is the role of NTA in NEET?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the examination from the current year. Earlier the examination was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). NTA is responsible for conducting the examination which includes registration, releasing admit card, organizing exam and releasing the result. NTA will not be organizing NEET 2019 Counselling.
#4. What will be the mode examination?
NEET is the only examination conducted by NTA that will be conducted in offline mode i.e. paper-pen mode. The candidate is required to carry NEET Admit Card along with a valid id proof to the examination centre.
#5. NEET can be taken in how many languages?
The candidate can opt the language during registration. NEET 2019 can be taken in 11 languages which include English, Hindi, Tamil, Assamese, Oriya, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Urdu and Telugu. The candidate opting for regional languages will be provided with the booklets carrying questions in the regional language as well as the English language. In case of error or omission, the English version of the question paper must be referred.
