By: Sakshi Awasthi on February 26, 2019

NEET 2019 is scheduled to be conducted on May 5, 2019, by the National Testing Agency (NTA). As the examination is merely 2 months away and the candidates who have already started their preparation would surely be knowing that the NEET Syllabus is quite vast.

NEET is considered as one of the toughest medical entrance examinations across the country which is accepted by all the medical colleges across the country apart from AIIMS and JIPMER campuses. However, it's tough to qualify the examination with the required percentile but a smarter approach towards your goal will surely help in securing a better score in the upcoming examination.

NEET 2019

5 Things to do before NEET 2019:

1. Take Mock Tests:

Try to solve at least a mock test every day and analyze your performance. Work on your weaker areas especially topics where you are wasting more time. Try to manage the time and complete the mock test within the mentioned time limit.

2. Solve Previous Year Question Papers:

The previous year question paper will provide you an idea regarding the questions asked in NEET examination. You will establish a better understanding of NEET Exam Pattern and weightage of various topics. Alike mock tests try to solve the previous year question papers with the mentioned time limit.

3. Follow your Timetable religiously:

As examination is nearly two months away, prepare an effective timetable according to the remaining days and keep separate time for revision, mock tests and solving sample papers. Don't waste too much time on a single topic and always keep the weightage of topics in mind while preparing an effective timetable.

4. Set Realistic Goals:

Set such goals which can be easily achieved within the remaining days. Don't exhaust yourself and always take small breaks of 15-20 minutes after every 3-4 hours of rigorous studies while preparing for NEET 2019. Analyze how much time you can give to your preparation in a day and set goals accordingly.

5. Don't forget NCERT:

It has been observed for past years that most of the questions in NEET examination are based on NCERT textbooks. At times students ignore the NCERT books and regret after examination. As NCERT textbooks focus on basics, clear all your concepts be referring NCERT books regularly.
