The Supreme Court of India dismissed a plea which had requested for a reschedule of the NEET exam on May 7. According to the petitioning sources, the top court had told him that preparations already stand complete and it would become difficult to reschedule the exam at this juncture.
The petition was drafted to include reasons for postponement on the likes on concerns being expressed about the short interval between the Board exams and the NEET exam.
This matter would be taken further by means of a meeting with the CBSE Board and the other concerned Government authorities.
NEET would be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education for admission to MBBS/BDS courses all over India with the approval of Medical and Dental councils of India, excepting institutions established by an act of parliament being AIIMS - all 7 campuses and JIPMER.
