NEET 2018: Counselling Schedule Released

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the tentative dates for NEET 2018 Counselling. According to the notification released by the MCC, the First round of Counselling process for 15% All India Quota will commence from June 13 and it will be conducted for 6 days. The Second round of counselling will be conducted from July 6 to July 8, 2018.

The NEET Result was declared at the official website of NEET and CBSE on June 4, 2018. The candidates who qualified the NEET 2018 examination according to the category-wise cut off released by the Central Board of Secondary education (CBSE), will be eligible to participate in the NEET 2018 Counselling.

Following Candidates will be Eligible for NEET Counselling:

  • Indian National, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs and Foreign Nationals
  • The age of the candidate must not be less than 17 years as on December 31, 2018. The upper age limit of the same is 25 years. A relaxation of 5 years will be provided to the candidates of reserved category.
  • The candidate must have passed class 12th with a minimum of 50 percent marks (Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-Technology as mandatory subjects).

Nearly 13 Lakh candidates appeared for NEET examination which was conducted on May 6, 2018 and the Answer Key of the same was released on May 25, 2018. Out of the total number of candidates, 7.14 Lakh candidates have qualified the examination.
