NEET Counselling 2018: DME Tamil Nadu Releases Rank List

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tamil Nadu has released the Rank List for the NEET 2018 candidates. The candidates who aspire to seek admission in the medical and dental colleges of Tamil Nadu must check the rank list at tnhealth.org or tnmedicalselection.org. The Tamil Nadu state counselling is expected to commence from July 7, 2018.
The Round 1 of Tamil Nadu state counselling will be conducted till July 10, 2018. The Round 2 of counselling is expected to be conducted between July 22, 2018, to July 24, 2018.

According to the reports, nearly 44 thousand candidates have applied for admission to MBBS and BDS courses offered by the government and self-financing colleges affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University. Last year there were nearly 50 thousand applications for the same.

A total number of 3,534 are available in the government medical colleges in Tamil Nadu, which includes 102 surrendered seats. There are 1,198 seats for BDS courses in government colleges and 715 in self-financing colleges.
