National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the NEET 2019 Results online today i.e. on June 5, 2019 at 2:30 PM. The NEET Results 2019, which was earlier expected to be announced by 4 PM have been made available two hours early on the official website ntaneet.nic.in. Medical aspirants who have appeared for the NEET Exam 2019 can now check the outcome of their hard work online on the official website. Candidates can check their NEET UG Result/Score card by using roll number and date of birth on the official website of NEET UG 2019.
Step 1: Visit the official website of NTA, ntaneet.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the link “NEET Result 2019” available on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your NEET Roll number and Date of Birth in the space provided and click submit button.
Step 4: Your NEET Result 2019 will be displayed on the next page.
Step 5: Check your Result/Scorecard
Step 6: Download and take print out of the same for future reference.
The NEET 2019 result will contain the qualifying status of the candidates who appeared for the NEET 2019 examinations which were held on May 5 and 20, 2019 respectively. The NEET 2019 result will contain the details such as the candidate's name, roll number, category wise qualifying percentile, and score, subject wise and total marks, the candidate's All India Rank (AIR) and the category rank of the candidate. There has been three major changes that have been accepted as part the the NEET 2019 Final Answer Key.
Nalin Khandelwal from Rajasthan has topped the NEET 2019 Exam with a sore of 701 out of the total 720 marks. Nalin has emerged as the All India Topper for NEET 2019. He is closely followed by Bhavik Bansal from Delhi on 2nd Rank while the 3rd Rank has gone to Akshat Kaushik from Uttar Pradesh. Both Bhavik and Akshat have scored 700 marks but were given Rank 2 and 3 based on the inter-se merit calculation.As per the official press release issued by the NTA, the overall cut-off for the NEET 2019 Result for General Category students stands at 134 marks in the NEET Exam. While the same for Reserved Category students has been 107 marks. After being published on the official website, the NEET 2019 Result will be available to the students online for 60 days. Medical aspirants will have to check and download the NEET Result 2019 within 60 days of it being announced.
Few days ago, NTA released the NEET 219 answer key and the candidates were given the time until June 1, 2019, to raise objections if any. According to data, close to 15,19,375 candidates registered for NEET 2019 of which 14,10,754 students appeared for the examination across the different states and centres in the country. Owing to the impact of Cyclone Fani, NEET 2019 exam was re-conducted for medical aspirants from Odisha state on 20th May 2019. Similarly, many students in Karnataka missed NEET 2019 exam on 5th May 2019 due to train-delay, exam was re-conducted for them as well on 20th May 2019.
After NEET Result 2019, students will have to appear for the counselling based on the marks obtained in the test to get admission in various undergraduate medical courses. Councelling for NEET Under Graduate (MBBS/BDS) aspirant candidates for All India Quota seats/ Institutional Quota/ Domicile (internal candidates) of Central Universities (Aligarh Muslim University/ Banaras Hindu University/ University of Delhi/Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi), (wards of ESIC insured persons) seats of colleges under Employee State Insurance Corporation and Armed Forces Medical College, Pune for the Undergraduate session 2019-20 will be conducted by Medical Counseling Committee/ Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
The schedule for NEET counselling 2019 will be uploaded on the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website –mcc.nic.in after some days of NEET 2019 result declaration. Last year, the first session of NEET 2018 counselling was held from August 31 to September 3.
