The Council of Architecture (COA) has declared the Result of National Aptitude Test of Architecture (NATA) on the official website of NATA at nata.in for the academic year 2018. The examination was conducted on May 29, at various examination centres across the country. The NATA 2018 Result was scheduled to be declared on June 1, 2018. However, there had been a delay of three days in the declaration of result.
The NATA examination is conducted to measure the aptitude of the applicants inArchitecture. The test measures the Drawing & Observation skills along with the sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability.
The NATA is a national level examination conducted for admission to undergraduate courses in Architecture. The examination is conducted by the National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA) on behalf of the Council of Architecture. The NATA Scores are accepted by various government owned, government aided and unaided colleges and institutes of architecture. The examination is conducted in two parts i.e. Paper based on drawing and computer based online aesthetic sensitivity test. The NATA 2018 examination was conducted for 200 marks. InPaper 1, the Mathematics section contained 20 questions and General Aptitude section contained 40 questions. The candidate is rewarded with additional 2 marks for each correct answer. The Paper 2 i.e. the Drawing section carried 80 marks.
