The application process for National Aptitude Test in Architecture began on January 6, 2017. The application process would end on February 2nd, 2017. The candidate who gets selected would get admitted for a five year Bachelor’s course in architecture.

The Council of Architecture regulates the education and conduct of professional architecture in India and maintaining a consistent register of architects. Any person who wishes to take up the profession  must be registered with the Council. In order to study B.Arch, the candidate must qualify in architecture.

This test measures the aptitude of the applicant for architecture, their drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability. The score card is valid for two years from the date the examinee has appeared.

The important dates for the same are as follows:

Application procedure: January 6-February 2,2017.

Date of exam: April 16, 2017

The candidate should have passed 12th with Mathematics as one of the main subjects;

The candidate should have passed 10+3 diploma in any stream from an institution recognized by Central and State Governments with maths as one of the main subjects.

The candidate should have passed an International Baccalaureate Diploma after 10 years of schooling with Maths as a compulsory subject.
