MOCK TEST: WHAT DO YOU ANALYSE?

By: Vikram on November 02, 2016

As much as it is important to practice mock tests and do quite a number of them , it is equally important to analyze how your performance in the same has been and techniques to make the attempts even better. Therefore, when you attempt one, do not compare it with any friend of yours and shove it away. Make it a point to analyze a few important things before you proceed on to your next course of action.

·         Look for the average amount of time you have spent per question.

·         Try to look up if any question has consumed a little extra time which you render unnecessary.

·         Go through all the wrong questions and try to solve them to compare with the right answers.

·         Also, have a look at all those questions which you have not answered and come up with the right response for them.

·         Read through the right answers, introspect on the technique used and analyze whether a better technique could have come up with to save time.

·         Classify the questions as easy, medium or difficult and do it likewise for every mock test that you attempt.

·         Summarize your learnings from mocks and check them off as and when you mitigate or eliminate them.

·         Plan your future course of revision based on the performance in your mock test.

All the best!!
