SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is part of the elite entrance exam group for MBA programs which is conducted by SIU (Symbiosis International University) introduced a recent update in the SNAP Exam 2016. SNAP this year will see few changes in the examination pattern. SNAP has reduced the weightage of Analytical and Logical reasoning. They have reduced the score from 33% to 27 %; this will work as a major booster for candidates applying for it.
Analytical and Logical Reasoning (A&LR) was one of the major sections earlier, and a great emphasis was put into it. Till last year this section carried about 1/3 of the weightage as one of the major sections and put greater emphasis on it. Earlier, this section carried 1/3 part of the total Exam score (180 marks). The weightage ahas now dropped down by 6% which is a massive cut. SNAP is now for 150 marks and the total marks given to LR are reduced to 60 from 40.
Analytical and Logical Reasoning (A&LR) still holds The Key
Despite such a cut LR still holds the key significance. LR remains a major part regarding the weightage, and it is as important as others. Candidate can score good marks if they can focus on this section. If we talk about Practical perspective, LR is very important for any successful Manager. For the future purpose, every manager should understand quantitative information.
