Tricks and Tips to Prepare for CAT 2019

  • Practice Mock Tests

Students can attempt various mock tests or previous years' question papers to test their ability to judge the difficulty level of the exam. It would also help students assess how good they are at various subjects from which the question paper of CAT Exam is made. Students would be advised to have a look at their previous mock test results to understand the pattern of question paper. Going through CAT Exam Pattern is another way to understand the areas where students can score well.

  • Improving Accuracy

Accuracy is one of the finest qualities that must be achieved while preparing for an exam and it is also the toughest of all. It is difficult to improve on your accuracy, but regular practice and consistent attempts can help you attain the same. Understanding the basics of each subjects is the first step towards improving your accuracy. You can check your accuracy based on your performance in mock tests and previous year question papers.

  • Don't Stress Yourself

The exam is around the corner and I can totally understand the anxiousness students must be going through before the exam. There are not many days left to prepare but there is no point in stressing yourself out for the exam. I would ask students to never lose their hopes of getting admission into elite business institutions across the country. This is the time students brushed up their concepts that they have studied. Manaswi, who scored 99.4 percentile saysCAT not only check your exam knowledge, but also your mental strength and how well you can handle the exam stress. So, I had a plan prepared for the last seven days in exam. This was an idea of my teacher and according to the plan I took my last mock on November 20th and in the last four days I didn't study.

  • Time Management

Students appearing for CAT 2019 must divide their time of examination into smaller divisions. They must make sure that each section is given enough time for preparation and do not spend more than the allotted time on each section. The entire section must be completed in pre decided time. Even if the section requires more time than the allotted one, you are advised to switch the section after spending the already calculated time on it. Besides, don't waste your time on something you don't know or something that is more time consuming than the other ones.

This concludes how one should prepare in the last few minutes right before the exam. All the very best to all the students out there appearing in CAT 2019. Believe in yourself.
