According to the latest notification issued by CBSE, the candidates appearing for Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main) in April 2018 are provided with the facility of correcting their Aadhar details in the online application form. Candidates can now visit the official website of JEE Mains i.e. jeemain.nic.in and make the necessary changes if required.
CBSE has also notified that JEE Mains 2018 aspirants can visit their respective examination centre a day prior to the scheduled day of examination, to know the exact location of the centre. This will help candidates to avoid unnecessary delay and reach the centre timely. According to the notification, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre after 9:30 am for Paper 1 and after 2:00 pm for Paper 2. Candidates appearing for second shift of Paper 1 must reach the examination centre by 2:30pm.
The exam is scheduled on April 8, 2018 for paper & pen mode and on April 15, 2018 for Computer-based test mode. Paper 1 will be conducted from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and paper 2 will be conducted from 2pm to 5pm in both paper & pen as well as Computer-based test mode.
JEE Mains is a national level engineering entrance examination conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) for admission to numerous engineering colleges in India. Candidates aspiring to seek admissions in National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other Centrally-Funded Technical Colleges (CFTIs) must appear for JEE Mains entrance examination.
