The candidates who successfully registered for JEE Main April 2019 examination can now check their applications and make necessary corrections in their application form. The JEE Main Correction Window will be available from today i.e. March 11, 2019, and the last date to make required alterations in the JEE Main Application Form is March 15, 2019. The candidates who are interested in checking their application form and make required changes must visit the official website of JEE Main at jeemain.nic.in.
The candidates of Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Category can also select their category and apply for the examination from today onwards.
The Notification by the National Testing Agency states, “Candidates of JEE (Main) January 2019 as well as April 2019 Examinations, who come under EWS category as per the Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, may mention such category in the Online Application Form available at jeemain.nic.in between March 11-15, 2019. The EWS Category Certificate is not to be uploaded in the JEE Main Portal. However, the same will be required at the time of filling up f the application for JEE (Advanced).”
This year, nearly 9.54 lakh candidates applied for the JEE Main April 2019 Examination which is scheduled to be conducted between April 6 and April 20, 2019, in an online mode i.e. Computer Based Test format. Out of the total number of applicants, nearly 6.36 lakh candidates are repeating the examination. JEE Main Result for the April session is expected to be released on April 30, 2019, by the National Testing Agency.
