JEE Main 2018 Examination Scheme released

The JEE Main Examination would be held in an online and offline mode. The JEE Main Paper would be held on April 8, 2018 and the computer-based mode examination would be held on April 15 and 16, 2018. The JEE Main official notification has been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education. 

Scheme of JEE Main exam

Paper 1 (BE/Btech) of JEE Main 2018: The exam would be conducted in two phases i.e. offline (Pen and Paper Based Examination) and online Computer Based Mode (Computer Based Examination).

Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning) of JEE Main 2018: This exam would be conducted only in the pen and paper base examination mode. The subject combinations have been listed as below:

JEE Main 2018 would be conducted across various cities in India as well as abroad. Candidates can select 4 papers in their order of preference for the offline based examination and one city in case of Computer based Examination.

The students who clear JEE Main would be able to write JEE Advanced. Students would be allotted colleges on the basis of these two written examinations. 

The JEE Main Papers would be conducted in English and Hindi medium except in Gujarat where the paper would be conducted in Gujarati.
