Candidates who secured top percentiles after the declaration of the JEE Main 2019 Result are happy about their achievement and is now aiming for IITs. They shared their success mantra for future aspirants.

JEE Main 2019 which was conducted earlier in the month of January and April and after combining result for both the sessions a composite result was declared this week. One thing which is common among all these toppers is their preparation strategies apart from the hard work.

On understanding more about their routine, one more thing which came up is that all these toppers kept adequate distance from social media and relied on NCERT text books for the fundamentals of subject. All of this played the key role in their success.

Unlike other teenagers of his age, social media never fascinated Shubham Srivastava, All India Rank (AIR) 1 holder. He instead gets joy in solving equations of Mathematics and Physics. The tougher the problems are the more it makes him curious and happy. He took the exam in both January as well as April sessions and secured 99.96 in the former followed by a perfect 100 percentile in the later. When asked about any particular books he referred, he mentioned to be consulting NCERT textbooks for physics and chemistry and HC Verma for Mathematics.

Sameeksha Das, one of the female topper also seems to be following the same path as she improved her scores in April’s session. She mentioned to focus more on NCERT books after her January session.

Dhruv Arora, who secured third rank and a perfect 100 percentile in his January attempt gives all the credits to his hard work and NCERT text books. In an interview he mentioned that the exam is easy enough to be cracked with preparation using NCERT books and previous year’s question papers.

AIR 4 holder, Jayesh Singla disclosed of not using phones after class 10 and opting for a basic phones without any social media interactions like his other friends.

Candidates who qualified the examination are now looking forward for JEE Advanced which will open the gates of IITs for them. Top 2.45 lakh candidates and more will be able to register for the upcoming exam in few days.
