The National Testing Agency will be conducting JEE Main 2019 April Examination from April 7, 2019. According to the media reports, nearly 6.4 lakh candidates who appeared for JEE Main January examination will be appearing in April examination as well to improve their JEE Main Score and Rank.

Following are the details of the raw scores of candidates who scored 100 percentile along with the expected range of marks for 90 percentile and above:
The candidates who got 100 percentile had scored between 345 to 355. These students have scored full marks in Mathematics and Physics section. Most of the marks were lost in the Chemistry section.
The candidate must note that the percentile is dependent on the particular slot for which the candidate appeared. Due to this, 16 students scored 100 percentile in January examination. As the rank of the candidate is calculated on the basis of the percentile score, the understanding the range of raw scores will help the candidate to plan the upcoming examination accordingly.
According to the experts, 90 percentile range would be above 260 marks and there is a wide drop in the marks from 90 to 80 percentile.
Many students aim to achieve the highest rank in the JEE main examination as 2.45 lakh candidates will be selected for JEE Advanced 2019 examination. Keeping the reservation criteria of JEE in consideration, the candidates of General Category requires to rank in top 1,08,229 to appear for JEE Advanced examination.
