JEE Main 2019: Paper Analysis of Exam Conducted on April 9

The second day of JEE Main April Session Paper I was successfully concluded yesterday throughout the country. According to the students who appeared for the second day of JEE Main Paper I, the overall level of the examination was moderate.

Overall Reaction: Physics and Mathematics were of moderate level whereas the Chemistry section was easier.

JEE Main Paper Analysis (April 9, 2019) | Highlights:

  • The exam pattern remained the same as in previous years.
  • The second-day paper was based on the previous day examination.
  • Chemistry was easier and carried direct questions as compared to previous year question paper. Questions based on organic chemistry were repeated from previous year papers.
  • Physics was calculative and moderate whereas Mathematics was lengthy.
  • Physics was the toughest section and carried maximum questions on Electrostatic & Magnetism and Mechanics.
  • Chemistry was primarily based on NCERT and had maximum questions based on Inorganic Chemistry.
  • Mathematics section was moderate and had maximum questions on Relation functions, probability and Trigonometry.

JEE Main Paper 1 will also be conducted on April 10, 2019, and April 12, 2019. The Answer Key and OMR sheets are expected to be released by April 21, 2019. The candidates can challenge the answer key in the last week of April 2019, by visiting the official website of JEE Main at jeemain.nic.in. The Result of JEE Main Paper I will be released on April 30, 2019, whereas the same of Paper II will be released on May 15, 2019.
