JEE Main 2019: NTA Issues Advisory for Aspirants

The National Testing Agency has released the advisory for the candidates who will be appearing in JEE Main April Examination which will be conducted from April 7, 2019, to April 12, 2019. JEE Main Admit Card has been released on the official website of JEE Main. The candidates who successfully completed their registration must download their Admit Card before the examination.

Details of Advisory Issued by NTA for JEE Main Aspirants:

  1. The candidate must download their JEE Main Admit Card from the official website at jeemain.nic.in before the examination date.
  2. The candidate must check the details mentioned on the JEE Main Admit Card such as reporting time, gate closing time, date & time of examination and venue.
  3. The candidate must visit the examination centre at least a day before the examination to avoid the last-minute hustle.
  4. The candidate must reach the test centre before the reporting time mentioned in JEE Main Admit Card. If the candidate reaches the examination centre after the mentioned time, they will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
  5. The candidate must carry JEE Main Admit Card, a valid ID proof, PwD Certificate (if required), and a passport size photograph to the examination centre.
  6. The candidate must not carry the following items to the examination centre- instruments, geometry, pencil box, handbag, purse, paper, stationery, written or printed material, earphones, camera, tape recorder, log tables, docupen, watches, pencils, erasers etc. to the examination centre. However, the candidates appearing for Paper II must carry geometry box set, pencil, eraser and color pencils or crayons to the examination centre.
  7. The candidates with diabetic problem will be allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/ fruits and transparent water bottles to the examination centre. Such candidates can not carry packed food such as chocolates or sandwiches to the examination centre.
  8. The candidate will be provided pen and blank paper sheets for rough work at the examination centre. The candidate must mention their name and roll number on the rough sheet and return it to the invigilator before leaving the examination room.
  9. As the examination will be conducted in computer-based test mode, the candidate must take mock tests available on the official website of NTA to familiarize with the pattern.
  10. The candidate must carefully read all the instructions mentioned on the JEE Main Admit Card.
