The result of the JEE Main Examination is scheduled to be released today by the Central Board of Secondary Education on the official website of JEE Main i.e. jeemain.nic.in. The registered candidates who have appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination conducted on April 8, 2018 for Paper-Pen Mode and on April 15 & April 16, 2018 for Computer-Based Test Mode are requested to visit the official website to check their JEE Main Score and Rank of Paper 1. The Result will comprise of actual marks obtained by the candidate in Paper 1 along with the qualification status of the candidates aspiring to appear for JEE Advanced Examination. The JEE Advanced 2018 examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 20, 2018.
The result for Paper 2 is scheduled to be released on May 31, 2018. According to the official data released by the Board, nearly 12 lakh candidates appeared for JEE main 2018 examination. The examination is conducted to provide admissions to numerous Under Graduate Engineering and Architecture courses offered by National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs).

The top 2,24,000 candidates of JEE Main 2018 examination will be considered eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination for the academic year 2018. The candidates who qualify JEE Advanced examination are eligible to obtain admissions in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
The declaration of the result will be followed by notifications regarding JEE Main Counseling. The counseling for JEE main candidates will be conducted by JoSAA and CSAB.
