Here is a list of common Frequently asked Questions by students for JEE Advanced Examination.

I have Grade 12 pass certificate and Marks Statement, both separately. Which document am I required to upload during JEE Advanced Registration?

You must upload the Grade 12 Statement of Marks.

I have given the Grade 12 Examination in 2017. Is it possible to register for JEE Advanced without uploading the Grade 12 certificate?

The candidates appearing for Grade 12 exam in 2017 are not required to upload any document with respect to the same.

Can the question paper be got in Hindi?

Yes, JEE Advanced offers question papers in two languages: English and Hindi. Candidates would have to choose these options at the time of registration.

Is writing Paper 1 and Paper 2 compulsory?

Yes, it is compulsory. If the candidate is absent during any one of the papers, the candidate would be rendered absent from the exam.

What are the login credentials to apply for JEE Advanced?

Your login would be the JEE Main roll number. The password is the same that you had earlier used for JEE Main.

During JEE Main, my category has been declared wrong. Can it be corrected during JEE Advanced registration?

No. The category that is declared during JEE Main registration cannot be changed.

The candidate has taken admission in one of the IITs for a preparatory course. Is he eligible for JEE Advanced 2017?

Yes, he is eligible for JEE Advanced 2017 subject to fulfillment of other eligibility criteria. Criterion 5 of the information brochure can be referred to.

During the examination, can the answers bubble on ORS be modified?

No, since the bubbling on ORS is done with a ball pen, a candidate cannot modify the answers once bubbled.

When am I expected to reach the exam center to appear for JEE Advanced?

You must reach your exam center well in advance. Familiarize yourself with the venue quite early.
