With the end of JEE Main 2019 April session on April 12, 2019, all the aspirants are now eagerly waiting for the release of cut off list on basis of which they can apply for the upcoming JEE Advanced 2019 examination. As per the feedback was given by the students and analyzing the question paper it is clear that candidates found the physics paper little difficult than others whereas the chemistry paper was surprisingly easy.

JEE Main 2019 cut off is expected to be between 75 to 85 for the general category to be eligible to apply for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced exam. Last year the cut off was 74.
JEE Advanced experts who are analyzing the exam pattern and cutoff list for years now have predicted that this year the cutoff for the examination will be slightly higher in comparison to last year as the some of the subjects were easy balancing out the difficult ones.
One of the senior from the expert panel of leading exam preparation website has mentioned that the JEE Main 2019 cutoff is expected to range from 75-85, which is slightly higher than last year's cutoff which was 74 for students applying under general category. Some of the other experts believe that the cutoff for the exam will fall somewhere from 80-85.

Mr. Amalendu Ghosh, who is a Physics expert teacher in KVS Kolkata has analyzed the question papers of the exam every day and predicted that “The cut-off for the general category will vary from 85 to 90. Similarly, for the candidates applying under OBC, it will vary from 45 to 70, 40-70 for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and candidates under PwD.” He also mentioned that although the physics paper was difficult and time-consuming, the entire paper was moderate and there are chances of seeing some good scores in JEE Main.

Candidates should note that at first the final cutoff list will be declared considering the student's best performance in the two sessions. The cutoff list for the candidates who are eligible to apply for JEE advanced 2019 will be released later.
The Answer Key for JEE Main is expected to release this week while the result may be declared at the end of the month. A total of 9, 35,741 candidates appeared for the exam in April session.
