The most awaited engineering entrance examination of the country after JEE Main is happening today across the country. As per the data released by official approximately 1.76 lakh candidates which also include 3, 161 candidates from Odisha will appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2019 today.

The exam will be conducted by IIT Roorkee in all the major cities today. Out of 2.45 Lakh eligible candidates only 1.76 are going to take the test today.
JEE Advanced 2019 will be conducted in fully computer based test module in different cities of the country which also includes few exam centres affected by recent cyclone Fani in Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Cuttack and Rourkela.

The exam will comprised of two papers and will be held in 2 sessions. The first session is allotted for Paper 1 which is scheduled to be conducted 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by second session allotted for Paper 2 and scheduled to be conducted from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
For the students applied under PwD category, the authority has decided to give them extra one hour for the examination.
As per the instructions released by IIT Roorkee, aspirants are not allowed to bring any electronic devices or wear any jewelry like rings, bracelet, ear rings and dress with big buttons. The detailed instructions to be followed during the examination is also mentioned on JEE Advanced Admit Card.
Candidates who will qualify the examination will be able to check their respective rank cards on June 14, 2019 on the official website jeeadv.ac.in. It is important to note that the rank card will only be available online and no separate rank card will be sent to candidates.
