The registration window for JAM 2019 which was closed earlier on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, has been extended till Friday, October 12, 2018, by 05:30 PM. The candidates who have still not registered for Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) 2019 can visit the official website jam.iitkgp.ac.in and complete the registration process.
IIT Kharagpur the conducting body of JAM 2019 this year has released the notification regarding the extend date of registration however the Exam will be conducted on the same date i.e. February 10, 2019. The students will also be informed about any changes in the schedule through SMS on the registered mobile numbers. Post the completion of registration process, the candidate will also be able to download their respective admit cards from January 04, 2019 and the same day the mock test link will also be made available for the students. The announcement of JAM 2019 Result is scheduled on March 20, 2019.

The JAM examination is conducted for taking admission in various streams offered under postgraduate and PhD programmes of Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Sciences (IISc.) Bangalore. IIT JAM 2019 is being conducted by IIT Kharagpur. The postgraduate projects include M.Sc.- Ph.D., joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., dual degree, M.Sc.-M.S (Research), M.Sc., M.Sc.- M. Tech, PhD dual degree, integrated Ph.D., and others. Candidate will have to fill and submit the application form and submitted the same online on the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS).
