Important Guidelines For CAT 2019 Exam. Know More!

The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode being the exam conducting authority of CAT Exam releases a notification stating a few guidelines for students appearing in CAT 2019 Exam. The exam is all set to be conducted on 24th November 2019. The exam would be conducted in two sessions i.e. Morning and Afternoon.

  • Session 1 is from 9 am to 12 pm and Session 2 is from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
  • The reporting time for session 1 is 7:30 am and for session 2 it is 1:00 pm.
  • Candidates who fall under the category of PwD would get 4 hours of duration to complete the exam.

There are almost 10 days left for CAT 2019 Exam and students appearing in the exam must be aware of these important guidelines mentioned by IIM Kozhikode so that they don't face any problem at the examination center. The basic aim of this article is to take students through the guidelines released by IIM Kozhikode.

CAT 2019

On the day of examination, the students must make sure that they read the instructions given on the admit card issued to them. CAT Admit Card is one of the most important documents students must carry to the examination center. The admit card generally carries vital information such as:

  • Candidate's name
  • Registration No.
  • Exam date and Venue
  • Exam time/ Exam session
  • Reference No.

CAT 2019 – Document Verification

On the day of examination, candidates would firstly be required to go through the security procedure held at every examination center of CAT Exam. Candidates would then need to get their documents verified by the invigilators assigned to them. The candidates must carry:

  • Admit Card
  • Original ID proof

CAT 2019 – Biometric Registration

After the verification procedure is completed, candidates would go through biometric registration wherein candidates':

  • Left hand thumb impression is captured
  • Signature will be taken on Attendance sheet
